About Miyeon: Miyeon Lee graduated with masters in painting from School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2011. She lived and worked in NYC for 15 years before participating in Jan van Eyck Academie artist residency in Maastricht, NL in 2015 – 2016, and since then her base has shifted to Europe. Her environment as a person and as an artist have melded together in her recent works. She expresses this physicality of migration and the subtleties of living through it via changing landscapes and architecture in her surroundings.
